My first blog....

So I have decided to start blogging. All the cool kids are doing it right? I am going to use this blog as an outlet for all kinds of stuff. Here are some things about me and things to expect from this blog:

1. I am a nerd, so there will be some tech talk. From products I own and love to stuff I would like to see companies make.

2. I am a lover of all things music.  I play bass guitar in a few bands around Louisville.  I also play a little bit of guitar and mandolin.  I love listening to music, my musical tastes are all over the board too... from Kelly Clarkson to Bloodbath.   I love musical gear.  I will probably talk about my equipment woes on here and talk about gear I would love to own.

3. I like sports, but I am new to it. I have recently discovered I love football. So I will probably talk about the Bengals and the Bills on here, as well as UofL, UC, and even UK.

4. I tend to over analyze most things. From very little minute details to really big things like religion and politics. I don't expect everyone to agree with the things I am saying, and I also don't feel the need to argue most of this stuff, again this blog is going to be a release for me.

5. I am a recovering addict. At the time of writing this I am going on four years sober. That is a huge thing for me so I am sure it will get brought up in this here blog.

6. I have wonderful friends and family. I am sure stories of them will be told. Names will be changed to protect the innocent on occasion.

7. I have a very cool job. I work as an instrument repairman for Cook Instrument Repair. I get to work on guitars and other musical equipment so I am sure there will be times when I am either gushing over something cool I am fixing or complaining about how crazy tough a job is.

8. I am single and I live on my own. Stupid bachelor stories do happen to me, if you're lucky, I might share some of them.

9. I moved a lot growing up. I lived in four different states and a lot of different houses. As of late I have been in the same apartment for almost 4 years. I really think that is the longest I have ever lived in the same building.

10. I can be pretty lazy, I was trying to come up with ten things and I couldn't. SO yeah, I am lazy and thats what number 10 is about.

I don't know how often I will post to this. Probably just on Sundays because they tend to be laid back days for me. I might like it and post more... who knows...
